Hamlet Organic Garden

            It’s that time of year again! We fired up the woodstove in the greenhouse and spent Thursday, Friday, and Saturday planting onion and leek seeds. 105 trays, each holding 162 plugs, each containing 3 onion seeds, makes over 50,000 seeds planted. How many onions will we end up with come summer? Luckily, we had some help from our newest farmer, Ramona. Here she is making sure her Uncle Ian does a good job.
